Project Details: The end-user IT client has completed the construction of a data processing center in an industrial and logistics park under extreme cold conditions.  

The project was completed in record time: construction began in April 2023, and by February 2024, the data center was ready to host its first clients. 

The OEM delivered the power complex for the facility’s energy supply within 9 months, aligning with the client’s accelerated timeline.  

The data center meets Tier III fault-tolerant standards, ensuring uninterrupted operation during maintenance and upgrades.  

A key feature of the project is the power modules (or power units) of the electrical equipment. 

These modules are manufactured in block containers, which are installed alongside each diesel power plant.  

Each power module unit consists of three compartments housing transformers, low- and high-voltage switchgear, and an automatic transfer switch system.  

The power module enables both power conversion and distribution from backup diesel plants and in main grid operation mode.  

The power plant has a total capacity of 6 MW, comprising six diesel power plants.  

Automated containers with microclimate support systems were manufactured for assembly.  

The diesel units are based on Baudouin engines with a capacity of 1 MW each.  

The control system complies with Automation Level II, enabling local and remote control, as well as monitoring of internal parameters (including the fuel system) of the power plant.  

The fuel supply system is located in a separate compartment of the container with independent access, utilizing explosion-proof equipment.

It enables fuel refilling, drainage, and filtration.  

Double-walled fuel tanks are used for storage, enabling continuous full-load operation of diesel generators for over 12 hours. 

A nitrogen unit is provided to fill and monitor the sealing of the tank’s interstitial space.
